This is my photo sheet focusing on my chosen subject matter (Doorways), with photos from Hong Kong, Tokyo, Macau, Plymouth and Manchester.

Subject Matters: Blitz & Image Lab Sheets

This is my 24 hour Blitz sheet where I had to exhaust all of the different ways to use text, images, colours and paper. It is accompanied by my Image Lab sheet, where I exhausted all image making methods.

Subject Matters: Final [Work-in-Progress] (January 2014)

This is my final piece for the Subject Matters project, so far. As I have chosen to focus on doorways, I decided to use wood and attempt to replicate the doors I captured. So far I have screen printed a simple graphic onto the wood to create a juxtaposition between the clean-cut graphics to the grungy, worn-out textures created in the wood planks.

This is my final refined piece which was utilised throughout my six final pieces, accompanied by the initial experiments. All pieces were made with ink and brush apart from one which was drawing with a pen.

The Photo Map was an induction project to help us find our way around the All Saints Campus and navigate around the art facilities for future reference. The selected photos above showcase the note book work for this miniature assignment and the final product.

During the Diagnostic Stages of the Foundation Year I experimented with home-made ink tools with found objects such as sticks, scrap fabric, cork, wire, etc and performative drawing using charcoal.
